At Macro Camera Pro, we believe your photos are your business. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and why we prioritize your privacy by keeping your images where they belong: on your device.

1. Data Collection & Minimization

We follow a "Privacy by Design" approach. We only request access to the data absolutely necessary for the App's core functionality.

  • Camera Access: We require access to your device's camera to provide manual focus, exposure control, and macro photography features.
  • Photo Library Access: We require access to save your captured images directly to your Photos app. You can choose "Limited Access" to grant us permission only for specific albums.
  • Device Metadata: We access technical data (lens type, focal length, ISO) solely to display real-time "Pro" readouts in the UI.

2. On-Device Processing

We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos or videos.

  • All image processing, including "Liquid Glass" UI rendering and "Focus Peaking" (edge detection), happens locally on your iPhone's GPU.
  • No visual data is ever uploaded to a server or shared with third-party AI services.

3. Trial & Purchase Tracking

  • To facilitate your 5-Day Free Trial, we use a secure local identifier stored in your device's Keychain.
  • This data is not linked to your name or Apple Account identity.
  • It is used solely to determine your trial status and is never shared with third parties or used for tracking across other apps.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Apple StoreKit: We use Apple's official framework for In-App Purchases. Your payment information is handled securely by Apple and is never visible to us.
  • No Analytics/Tracking: Macro Camera Pro does not use third-party analytics (like Firebase or Facebook SDK) to track your behavior. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Your Rights & Control

  • Permissions: You can revoke Camera or Photo Library access at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security.
  • Data Deletion: Since we do not store your data on our servers, there is no account to delete. Deleting the app removes all locally cached UI preferences.

6. Compliance

This policy is designed to comply with the GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.
